Argilux expanded clay pebbles, made in Tunisia. A layer at the bottom of the pot drains the water and keeps the roots out of it; mixed into potting soil they lighten and aerate it; spread on top they hold the moisture in and finish the planter neatly. The pebbles store 14 % of their volume in water and release it slowly, so you water less often. Inert and pH neutral, they also work as a hydroponic growing medium and can be reused season after season. Resealable 10 litre bucket, ready to use.

How to use :
Drainage: pour a 2 to 5 cm layer at the bottom of the pot before the potting soil.
Aeration: mix roughly 10 % of the volume into the substrate.
Mulching: spread 2 to 3 cm on top, around the base of the plant.
Hydroponics: fill the growing pot with rinsed pebbles, no potting soil.
